Universal Brotherhood - Meaning and Goals: Post by Deepti Sarin

Universal Brotherhood is the establishment of Tolerance, Truth, and Peace, while recognizing

that the truth is not something exclusive but that every path, religion, philosophy, culture has

a part of the truth. Its objective is to bring together science, art, and religion, for the purpose

of intellectual improvement as well as spiritual education.

The Universal Brotherhood's goal is to unite people who wish to work towards the

transcendence of the spirit, regardless of belief, nationality, gender and economic status. This

organization is non sectarian and gives classes, lectures, and workshops regarding all the

different paths, religions, philosophies and cultures impartially with preference towards none.

The principal activities of Universal Brotherhood are community service such as workshops

on good nutrition, yoga for good health, meditation for relaxation, activities for children and

adolescents, and women's clubs.

  2. very well projected mam..Infact i also believe that It is essential to develop right attitude and teach students about diversity in the classroom to groom them as global citizens. We must realize the fact that we are human beings first and human beings last. To be born in a particular region, religion, community or country is not our choice, but a chance. By birth, all children are good at heart but it is the social upbringing that changes their personality, attitude and behavior. Hence, we must focus more on the upbringing of children. It requires support from all stakeholders including parents, educators, educational institutions, NGOs, government and society as a whole!

  3. thanks a ton mam....but the credit goes to u for motivating us and guiding us all through..u truly are an inspiration :) ...yes....I firmly believe that we should be be a humanist first, should have a positive, right and strong attitude. We should develop ‘let go unpleasant past’ attitude. We should be magnanimous to forgive others. Accommodate others with a big heart. Demonstrate compassion. We should look at the character in people, not colour.
should evolve as a global citizen with a global mindset rather than with a local mindset. Last but not the least respect all people.
Love your mother but don’t hate another person’s mother.

    Grow as a Global Citizen.
